Full-time Analyst program
The full-time Analyst program usually commences in July every year with a 5-week intensive training program where you will be trained and will network with fellow Analysts from Investment Banking as well as Capital Markets Origination around the globe.

The training program begins with orientation and induction sessions, providing an overview of Citi and specifically investment banking and capital markets products. You will then complete extensive classroom training with skilled external corporate training consultants, supported by selected internal instructors from within Citi. This comprehensive program is designed to cover the following fundamental aspects of the Analyst role:

  • Enhance confidence when extracting and assimilating financial information
  • Build robust financial models
  • Fundamentals of equity valuation
  • Become familiar with the standard Citi financial models
  • Understand key roles in the financial markets
  • Obtain an overview of the most important financial products

Upon completion of the training program, you will commence your role as an Analyst in your assigned franchise.

During the first year, you will also attend a 12-day in-country induction program (MAX). The MAX Program offers an overview of all products in Citi, and provides excellent networking opportunities with all in-country new campus recruits and business managers across businesses.

The full-time Analyst program will be demanding and your learning curve will always be steep. However, you will never have time to be bored and will constantly be faced with new challenges. In addition, you will be in continuous contact with different regional offices around the world.

The Summer Analyst program targets at penultimate year university students (undergraduate or masters), and is tailored for those who plan to start their career in Investment Banking. We understand that making a career choice is one of the most important decisions that you have to take, and it is extremely important that you make an informed choice. The Program thus helps you get a first-hand experience in Investment Banking while you are still at university.

The Summer Analyst program is 10 to 12 weeks long and usually commences in mid-June every year. You will be assigned with project(s) with real business impact and your learning curve will always be steep. Apart from on-the-job training, you will join other Summer Analysts in an intensive training program that comprises of orientation and induction sessions. These trainings provide you with an overview of our organization, our products, and our niche. By giving you insight to the different business areas, you will see how those areas work, and the synergies among them.

Throughout the summer, you will also join a series of activities which would help develop your people skills in order to build a network of contacts – which may come in very useful as you embark on your career in the financial services sector.

You will also develop a professional rapport with your assigned Mentor, who can offer you his or her experience, knowledge, and guidance throughout the summer.

The Summer Analyst program will be demanding. However, you will never have time to be bored and will constantly be faced with new challenges. Very often, Summer Analysts who perform and exceed expectations will be considered and propelled ahead of their peers in the interview process for Full-time Analyst positions.
