Analyst & Associate Programmes

Citi has various opportunities for both Analysts and Associates.  Summer Internships are open to both Analysts and Associates, where as Placement opportunities are open to Analysts only. For Full Time positions we recruit from campus, as well as largely integrate our classes with former Summer Interns.

Summer Internship Programmes
Summer internship programmes start in mid-June (for Associates) and end-June / beginning of July (for Analysts) and last 10 weeks. The programmes will start with a week in-depth training where top bankers at the firm will share their experiences and knowledge with you. The goal is to get you working as a full time Analyst or Associate for the rest of the internship. These programmes are meant to participate and engage so that you can get the most out of the experience.

Full Time Analyst or Associate at Citi
Upon you joining full time, you’ll get a jump-start with our intensive training program that’s run by some of the best minds in the business. You will be taught by both experienced external trainers as well as Citi bankers. They will all teach you in a “learn by doing” method that involves case studies, presentations and hands-on projects.

Once you will join your team on a full time basis, as Analyst or Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to manage time and expectations, become the knowledge expert on the projects you work on, and drive analyses and processes forward.                 

Being an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi
Analysts are critical to the success of our investment bank. They provide the foundation for everything we do, from research, valuation and modelling to coordination.                                   

Being an Investment Banking Associate at Citi
Associates are the linchpins of a project team, responsible for everything from the smallest detail to integrating high-level strategy.  They will contribute their ideas, impact valuations and help to improve they way we deal with clients. These experiences are the best way to prepare for a future of more senior banking roles.

We are looking for the best people who have business degrees as well as those with other backgrounds. What matters most is a high level of motivation, excellent communication skills and, of course, your academic performance. A true passion for the business is also vital.
